UltraPulse® CO2 Laser can benefit the majority types of scars excluding keloid scars. Treatable scar types include acne scars, post-surgical scars, chickenpox scars, scars from trauma and burns, stretch marks and so on.

CO2 laser carries special risks for darker skin types. Our success in treating darker skin types lies in our doctors’ expertise and experience in managing dark skin types meticulously before and after the procedure.
Some discomfort can be expected. Often, people describe a sunburn-like sensation in the skin. To minimise discomfort, topical anaesthesia is applied prior to the procedure and cooling is applied throughout the procedure.
Immediately post procedure, skin swelling and redness are universal. They usually settle within 3-5 days.
Scabs commonly form several days after the procedure which eventually peel and come off.
Total downtime varies between 7-14 days.
Results become noticeable 4-6 weeks following the treatment. One or more sessions may be required for optimal results. In between sessions, a gap of 4 weeks is recommended.
