Am I suitable?

Cosmelan® and Dermamelan® Peels are proven effective for a number of common pigmentation disorders including melasma, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun damage and age spots.

They are great for resistant pigmentation which has failed to respond to more superficial peels or has the tendency to recur.

Do Cosmelan® and Dermamelan® Peels Work?

Absolutely. Cosmelan® and Dermamelan® Peels employ patented ingredients that specifically target pigmentation in the skin. These revolutionary treatments have undergone extensive research and are widely practiced in Europe and North America. They exhibit excellent response rates and predictable side effects, making them a trusted choice for pigmentation management.

What does the procedure involve?

Cosmelan® and Dermamelan® Peels involve a three stage process which include pre-peel preparation, the peel and after-peel maintenance. The length of the programme is tailored to individual needs and typically varies between 6-12 months.

When can I return to normal activities?

The peel is applied and left on for an average of 4 hours during which we advise rest and avoiding strenuous activities.

The skin will likely be red and swollen immediately following peel removal but most normal activities such as work and study can be resumed.

When will I see results?

Skin peeling is expected to continue for up to 2 weeks. Results begin to show from 4-6 weeks.

Will my pigmentation come back?

This will depend on the cause of the pigmentation.

Cosmelan® and Dermamelan® are designed to suppress melanin production and minimise risks of pigmentation recurrence.
